Payment and Refund Policy

1. Payment and Booking:

• A deposit of $250 is required upon booking to secure your Ceremony Date. This booking fee is not refundable.
• Full Payment due within 14 days of the Ceremony Date. Non-payment may result in the cancellation of the booking.

Remote signing of the NOIM

• Signing of the Notice of Intended marriage can now be completed by virtual meetings, when the distance for the initial meeting is over 100 kms. ( I personally prefer to meet couples face to face.)
• The date the NOIM is return and received by the celebrant after the virtual meeting is the Date Notice received. 
• This may impact on those relying on the minimum 30 days.
• It is the responsibility of the couple to scan and email back to the celebrant , it is suggested to email NOIM back to celebran immediately after witnessing of signatures as occurred.  
• Deposit is expected in this sererio when NOIM accepted to ensure your ceremony date is lock in. 

2. Cancellation and Refund:

• If you decide not to proceed with the ceremony, the balance will be refunded within 7 days of cancellation.

3. Celebrant's Unavailability

• In the event the celebrant is unable to perform your ceremony due to ill health, accident, or other unexpected reasons, including natural disasters affecting the celebrant and no alternative celebrant is available , a full refund will be issued within 7 days if an alternative date cannot be arranged.

1. Conduct of Ceremony:

• If either party or witness arrives at the ceremony and is in the opinion of the celebrant, is not in a suitable condition or unable to comprehend the ceremony,  and consent to marriage can not be established  or understood the celebrant reserves the right to refuse to proceed with the ceremony. 
•  In such cases, a commitment ceremony may be performed  and legals completed at a more suitable time and date agreeable at the choosing of the celebrant. 
• if this is not possible no refunds will be made.

2. Communication:

• I am required to speak to each party separately to confirm consent before the ceremony, this will be conducted at a convenient time that suits both parties.  
• I will communicate with you openly and honestly regularly throughout the planning stages, especially on the days leading up to and day of the ceremony. 

3. Music and Equipement:

•  While I may offer my PA system to run your ceremony music through, I am not in a position to press play and stop the music throughout the ceremony. If you use any of my equipment you need to organise a trusted person to complete these important tasks.    
• I can play music  while waiting for the bride before commencement of the ceremony , this will be done for 15 minutes and 15 minutes after while the congratulation process is happening..
•  In the case where the bride is excessively late ie: 20 minutes or more i will stop the pre ceremony music  to preserve the battery life of my device or system.

4. Concerns:

• Couples are encouraged to contact the celebrant if they have any questions or concerns about services provided under this agreement. Additionally, there is a formal complaints procedure detailed on the Attorney General's department website.

In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, I have put in place suitable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online and during the planning and conduct of your ceremony.

I do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties unless required by law or with your explicit consent.
